Polanica-Zdrój
Polanica-Zdrój is a Spa town called the pearl of Polish Spas. The Spa Park is one of the most beautiful and largest in Poland and is listed in the Registry of Cultural Property. In addition to sculptures, benches and flowering plants or shrubs, beautiful fountains are found here as well. In the Chess park you can play a game or two on a 100-metre board. The park is also an attraction for children. The 13-hectare Spa Park can be discovered by families on the tourist train. The Mineral Water Pump Room, directly adjacent to the Spa Theatre, is also worth a visit. The centre is also home to the “Słoneczne Termy Wielka Pieniawa”, a complex with two swimming pools, a gym, several saunas and jacuzzi. For our guests who spend a minimum of three nights in Jasny Dwór, we have a surprise complimentary 1-day entry to the complex.
Szczeliniec Wielki
The most beautiful trail and the highest elevation in Stołowe Mountains.
The trail is easy and the route is very interesting, with viewpoints, interesting rocks, rock labyrinths and the phenomenal Piekiełko gorge. The trail to Szczeliniec is a brilliant attraction in the Stołowe Mountains, not only for adults.
The Bear Cave
The longest cave in the Sudety Mountains and one of the most beautiful in Poland. It surprises us at every turn with its picturesque stalagmites, massive cascades, rice fields or millions of straws. The wonderful atmosphere of this is further enhanced by special lighting. It owes its name to the skeleton of a massive cave bear from the Ice Age discovered in one of its chambers.
Fort Srebrna Góra
One of the most interesting military attractions in the Kłodzko area. Its very location is extremely picturesque, as it rises among the hills of the Sowie Mountains.
This massive object was built between 1765 and 1777 and, for its time, was the most modern fortification in the whole of Europe. The most interesting part of the fortress is the bastion complex. The three levels housed huge warehouses, an armoury, a chapel, a prison, a bakery, a brewery and a hospital. The fortress operated as a self-sustaining hilltop town that could house almost 4,000 soldiers.
Błędne Skały
The National Park of the Stołowe Mountains is one of the most famous and popular attractions in the Kłodzko Basin and Kłodzko Land. Twenty two hectares of the park offer a real rock labyrinth, with 11-metre-high boulders, mysterious passageways and rock crevices.
Złoty Stok
Mining town whose architectural layout has remained unchanged since the 16th century. It is one of the most interesting tourist destinations in the Kłodzko Land with many attractions.
Wambierzyce
The most important sanctuary of the Kłodzko Basin. It is a small village located in the Kłodzko Basin at the foot of the Stołowe Mountains. During indulgences and festivals, this settlement of a few hundred inhabitants turns into a bustling town filled with crowds of pilgrims. The beautiful Baroque basilica with its unique symbolism, the miraculous statue of the Virgin Mary and the unique Calvary paths are filled with architectural gems.
For the active, there are dozens of mountain trails of varying degrees of difficulty, numerous cycling routes, scenic routes, walking and hiking trails. Hiking in the surrounding hills, valleys and country parks provides plenty of memorable experiences. There are many attractions for lovers of horse riding, golf, paint ball, fishing, rafting and skiing in the Zieleniec ski complex.
The location of the Kłodzko Land near the border with the Czech Republic makes it worthwhile to take a trip to unusual, interesting places in our southern neighbours.
Prague
PRAGUE – distance from Polanica 180 km, including more than 100 km by motorway. Prague is one of the largest tourist attractions in the world and one day is enough to visit the most important points of interest. During the trip, you must visit the castle complex of Hradčany, walk across Charles Bridge and then admire the streets of the Old Town with the Old Town Square and Wenceslas Square.
Adrspach-Teplice Rocks
This exceptionally attractive area is divided into 2 parts. The famous Rock Town next to Adrspach offers a tour among tall rock sculptures. Here, nature has curved all sorts of rock formations with fantastic shapes. You can also take a boat across the rocky lake. The second route starting in Teplice is similar in character, with the trail offering the possibility of climbing to the top of some rocks.
Sky Bridge 721 & Sky Walk
On a 721-metre footbridge you can walk from one mountain ridge to another. These places offer not only amazing views, but also a thrilling experience as you walk high above the ground. Sky Bridge 721 bears the title of the longest suspension bridge in the world, the landscape around it is simply indescribable. Dolní Morava is a place worth visiting and it will stay in your memories for a long time.
